Suri Cruise had become a sort of celebrity much before her birth because of her high profile celebrity parents Tom Cruise, the iconic Hollywood actor and Katie Holmes the cute actress first known for her amazing performance in television teen drama "Dawson's Creek".

Suri Cruise was born exactly a year after her parents met on April 18th, 2005. Suri Cruise was born on April 18th, 2006 at Saint John's Health Center in Santa Monica, California. While still others say that Suri is a short form of Surya, the name of sun god in Sanskrit. Ironically, Suri in Japanese means 'pickpocket'.
